W ater Approval Process System (e-WAPS) is a facility for Entrepreneur / Industrialist to get permission / approval for lifting of water from canal / river / nalas for industrial purpose and for Hydel / Mini Hydel Schemes as a part of ease of doing business, a government of Karnataka initiative. Applications submitted online are forwarded to WRDO / Nigamas for getting opinion on the availability of water. Site inspection report with their opinion from division submitted to Government to take appropriate decision. This automated system covers Entrepreneur / Industrialist registration to getting permission / approval to lift water for industrial purpose online. Entrepreneur / Industrialist will be able to track application process status at each stage.
